Biographical Information

Mr. Peter Prows
Clerk, International Court of Justice
Peter Prows graduated with High Honors in International Studies from Oberlin College in 2002, started law school at Tulane University in New Orleans, and transferred to NYU School of Law where he earned a J.D. and an LL.M. in International Legal Studies. During his LL.M. studies he was named a Graduate Scholar of the Institute for International Law and Justice.
He worked with Professor Martti Koskenniemi at the International Law Commission in Geneva during the summer of 2004 and was a research assistant to Professor Thomas Franck from 2004-2005. He worked as a Summer Associate in the international arbitration group with White & Case LLP, New York, in 2005. He was the Oceans and Law of the Sea Adviser to the Permanent Mission of Palau to the United Nations before starting his clerkship at the International Court of Justice in the
Hague this September.
