Scholarship Program
Admissions decisions are made without regard to an applicant's financial resources, and scholarship applications are reviewed only for students who have been admitted to a full-time LL.M. degree program. Scholarship applicants should follow the directions on the application and described in the application instructions in order to be considered for particular scholarships.
Scholarship opportunities are available in both New York City and Singapore. Scholarships are awarded based on merit, and the criteria for scholarship awards are the same for programs in New York City and in Singapore. Due to a generous donation marking the inception of NYU@NUS, there is more funding available for students studying in Singapore. Therefore, for applicants whose first preference is NYU@NUS, there is a greater chance of receiving a scholarship than for those who indicate a preference for New York City. The Committee on Graduate Admissions will offer admission and scholarship awards for NYU@NUS on a rolling basis. The Committee will begin mailing these decisions as soon as late September, making subsequent offers only if space in the program and scholarship funds remain available. Therefore, NYU@NUS applicants are encouraged to submit their applications and all required application materials as early as possible. Additionally, preference for scholarship awards will be given to those students pursuing the second LL.M. from NUS, which is offered to all students with no additional fees.
