European Community Taxation
Direct Taxation is not harmonized within Europe. However, the European Court of Justice (ECJ) developed concepts and rules that had a great impact on tax provisions and systems of the member states. This development is still in progress. This course examines recent decisions of the ECJ and especially their impact on the income tax treatment of cross-border-situations between member states and member states and third countries.
